| Using
the life model students will discover how to
integrate convincing structure with looser,
more atmospheric qualities to create
portraits that evoke both feeling and
strength. Students can use oils, acrylics or
pastels and will learn to mix flesh tones
with a limited palette and achieve accurate
proportions through study of facial
structure and surface anatomy. Gretchen’s
dedication to her teaching and the
individual attention she provides creates a
nurturing, supportive environment for her
students. Daily demonstrations will be
executed in various mediums. |
