the largest seller and selection of works by Sedona Artists
The Center's Fine Art Gallery showcases the largest selection in Sedona of artwork by local artists. If you are seeking a rare piece of fine art, a gift of exquisite jewelry, appreciate stunning photography, or looking for a lovely keepsake from your visit to Sedona, the Arts Center has it all and more. The Center is a 501(c)3 organization that offers all purchases without sales tax - almost a 10% savings. In addition, membership to the Sedona Arts Center provides an additional 10% off all gallery purchases as well as other benefits.
Visitors can enjoy a new exhibit every month, which opens with a wine reception during the First Friday Artwalk from 5 to 8pm. The featured artists are on-hand to meet guests and answer questions about their work. Throughout the month free art demonstrations by the featured artists are held in the gallery, providing a very personal, interactive experience with the art and the artists. Art Experiences, half- or full-day introductory workshops in many different mediums, are offered through the Art School. (See the Homepage for a complete listing)

Chris Saper
“Over the past twenty two years, I’ve painted nearly every day, and through a combination of painting, teaching and writing, have learned more than I’d ever dreamed possible about color. It’s glorious in every way, from the translucent skin tones of the fairest redhead, to the riotous, explosive colors of bougainvillea.”

Gale Craig
Artist Gale Craig paints in acrylics, encaustic, and mixed media. When you look at Gale’s vibrant, colorful abstract paintings, the first thing that strikes you is that she paints from the heart. Her remarkable use of color reflects her passion for the mystical and healing arts. However, what is truly unique about Gale’s style is that you can feel the essence of spiritual energy in everything she paints.

Mariann Leahy
Clay Artist - Ancient myths and symbols are my inspiration. Using clay that contains mica provides a rich surface for my work. I carefully draw stories in detail on sculpted fired clay. Each unique piece is painted with many coats of glazes which come alive in “brilliant” colors during the second firing. Before moving to Sedona fourteen years ago, Mariann taught in multicultural schools in the Chicago area . She did her graduate work at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Mariann has taught workshops at SAC where she exhibits, as well as Turquoise Tortoise Gallery at Hozho.

Exhibitions
The Sedona Arts Center Galleries exhibit works of both professional and local emerging artists. As a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit educational organization, the galleries play an important role in providing emerging artists the experience of marketing and selling their artwork. Submitting artwork and experiencing the jurying process for exhibtions in the gallery, the opportunity to demonstrate their skills through public art demonstrations, and to meet with potential buyers are all aspects of becoming a professional artist.
Interested in sponsoring an exhibition?
Our Special Exhibition Gallery is available to individuals and organizations for a small fee. Please go to our Campus & Rentals page for applications and detailed information.
